2008 has not been sweet so far (FO deets in [info]staticwhite) but I'm keeping my chin up! If these do well I'm all about making more, it was fun. I'm also plotting the anti-VDay pillows *muhuhahaha*. I may be in a wonderful relationship now but oh how the past holds much bitterness!... *ahem* 'Scuse me.

My Heart Burns For You  
Oh and here's a peek of something I made during a break from the self portrait applique.

I needed a distraction from the other project so I wouldn't "over-work" it. I zoned out on a small pile fabric and my mind reinterpreted the pattern  (leaves & flowers) into flames! I thought, "wouldn't that go nicely on a sacred heart type design"? Out came the red fabric and a water color pencil to sketch directly on the fabric with and a while later Voila!
