Huh, would you look at that, we are still here! It's been a bit since my last post but I was busy with the holiday rush, which is a good thing. Lots of made-to-order. Cthulhu and Krampus ornaments were pretty popular this year! Also, I had family prezzies to get done in amongst the orders:

Hand stitched princess crowns for the nieces,

fabric baskets (this is just one of a half dozen),

and even a Yeti Foot, among other things!

No rest for the wicked though, I still have plenty to get started for the new year. So many ideas, so little time.

I hope you have a Happy Howlidays and a fangtastic New Year!!

Here's a couple custom requested Ivory Krampusses playing together before they went off to their new home. One's obviously a little shy, the other not so much...

Always happy to make more or other create other critters!

Please tell me your week has started off better than mine...
Our beat up old car died in the driveway this morning.

Please help bring her back to life and use this coupon code, or share it with your friends!

Good in either one of my shops...

The code is good on everything, sale and custom listings included.
Once the items here are gone, they're gone.

Expires: Oct 29th 2012

Note: I can not guarantee delivery for Halloween at this point, but, USPS 1st class usually takes 3-5 days within the US. So the sooner you order the better!

I seriously have no idea what this latest problem is going to cost us yet but all I can do is hope I can raise enough with my stitchings because we really have nothing to spare. Unfortunately, where we live we need the car, there's just no getting around it. So even if you, yourself, don't use the coupon code please share it with your friends!

Much appreciation, xx ~Static

Apparently this busy Batling has been too busy to update her blog! Which is odd because I don't feel like I've been getting a whole lot done but then I look back and, huh, look at that, I did.

A dreaded birthday was last week. A handful of projects that were in the talking/thinking phase shifted into the "get sewing, biotch!" phase. I've kept up with the custom orders along with these other projects so it must be the birthday putting the fog in my brain.

Yeah... I'm determined to get past this draggin'-ass --Not to be confused with "dragon ass", I don't have a tail. Yet.-- feeling today!

Here's my current, slightly chaotic view:

In the back is a bag of batting, a canvas bag stuffed full of felt. Then a box of finished small projects, a spool of tulle (where's the purple one?!), tools of the trade, ribbon and beads. Trash bag in the middle for tidiness, as much as can be had anyway. In-progress headbands, fabric waiting to be transformed, fabric and more fabric. Never mind what I still need to retrieve from my workroom.

Well, I'm off and hopefully my next update won't be so far away!

I just realized that I have 1242 shop faves, between my two shops, as of this morning. Aww, I ♥ you too!

A top item fave (through the Facebook grapevine) seems to be that latest addition to the main shop: Mini Yetis.

Mini Urban Yeti (front left) playing hide and seek with her cousin Mini Tundra Yeti (back right).

The Mini Urban Yeti has already been adopted. But, if you'd like a Mini Urban Yeti for yourself you can either wait for the next to be listed ~or~ contact me for a custom. Custom color requests are welcome.

Other recently listed items:

Top R to L: Black Cat in the Garden - Reversible Headband, Festive Mini Cthulhu and By-the-Yard White Scallop Lace
Bottom: Bats and Stripes - Reversible Headband

In trying to get in the mood for the holidays I've made a few ornaments. I've brought back Skully Elf, made a Witch Kitty, and the Huggy/Cranky Cthulhus don't stay in my shop long...

Anything else you'd like to see this year? Suggestions welcome!

Any of my mini doll ornaments can be made in custom colors at no additional cost, just send me a message ask for a custom listing.

Also don't forget there's currently a discount code on my Facebook page which expires on Aug 15th 2012. That's only 2 days away!

Here is the Huggy Cthulhu I didn't even get to write about before he SOLD!...
Cute little Cthulhu just wants a hug. Really, just a hug. He's too tiny to take over the world just yet. He'll need the help of his wee brothers and minions (that's you) to care for them.

Apx 3.5 inches (8.89cm) tall by 3.5 inches wide wingtip to wingtip. The perfect size for riding in your pocket!

If you'd like a Huggy Cthulhu before I get another listed just send me a message. Or, you could just scoop up one of his brothers which are coming soon!

I have just finished some gothy, swirly, black and red Dahlia Hairclips for your enjoyment...

They are both hand-cut, -folded and -rolled. The red petals, on both, have sparkling accents Also, both colors have been rolled together to create a swirl at the center.

Apx 5 inches wide with 2 inch french barrettes attached to the back.

Available in my shop now!

Custom color and backing (pinback, snap clip, etc) requests are always welcome. Turn around time depends on my workload at the time.
